Join the Cajun French Music Association of Louisiana – Lake Charles Chapter and become part of a passionate community dedicated to preserving and promoting Cajun music, language, and culture.
As a member, you’ll connect with individuals who share a love for our heritage and a commitment to keeping it alive for future generations.

Our chapter offers a variety of programs and activities, including conversational Cajun French classes, dance lessons, music lessons, and a Cajun Choir. We proudly host our Annual Cajun Music & Food Festival every third weekend in July—recognized as a “Top Twenty Event” by the Southwest Louisiana Tourism Society—as well as the Miss Cajun Music Pageant the following weekend. In addition, we support a Mardi Gras Krewe, a dance troupe, and a Cajun Choir.

Through our fundraising efforts, we have contributed more than $15,000 to an endowment at the McNeese State University Foundation, helping fund annual scholarships for local schools that offer French classes—investing directly in the future of our language and culture.

We are an active, hardworking, and welcoming organization, and we invite you to become involved in what we believe is a truly meaningful mission: preserving our Cajun heritage.

We look forward to welcoming you and keeping you informed about upcoming events, programs, and opportunities to get involved. Your membership and participation make a lasting difference.

Join us today and help keep our Cajun culture strong.
